Reviews Overview

Most Liked

One of the standout features of Welsh Row Fryer is the generous portion sizes. Diners often rave about the filling meals, especially the fish and vinegary chips, which provide great value for money. The staff's friendliness leaves a lasting impression, as they are attentive and eager to share recommendations. Many reviews highlight the excellent quality of both the fish and the Greek dishes, showcasing the skill and care in preparation. The new desserts have also garnered positive feedback, adding a sweet touch to the dining experience. Families appreciate the kids' menu, making it an excellent spot for a casual outing with young ones.

Most Disliked

A few visitors have noted that during busy times, service can slow down, especially when ordering takeout. Some diners expressed a desire for more spacious seating arrangements, as the cozy atmosphere can feel a bit cramped when the restaurant fills up. A handful of reviews mentioned that while the prices are reasonable, a few customers felt that certain dishes could be priced higher given their quality. Additionally, those looking for a more upscale dining experience might find Welsh Row Fryer’s casual vibe less appropriate for special occasions.

Best food I have had in Nantwich. During my week-long stay here I have tried a few restaurants. Today is my last day in this lovely town and I couldn't make a better choice for takeaway dinner. Fish and vinegary chips - portions impossible to eat at once - and the price is very reasonable. The personnel here are so nice and helpful with the food selection, you can't miss here.

Hidden gem and credit to Nantwich. Amazing traditional greek food. Everything fresh and delicious. Lovely humble owners and friendly staff and for how amazing the food is prices should be way higher then they are.

Driven past this place many times thinking we must give it a try sometime, so today we did. Its a mix of a traditional "Fish & Chip" shop but also paired with a Grill serving authentic Greek Food. Its more of a takeaway than a Cafe, although there are a few tables you can sit at to eat at if you find one empty, which we did. We had Chicken Giros with Salad and Pita, they were excellent, good portion size and very reasonably priced. We will certainly be going back.
